How people get into it here: SPM with strong science results → Matriculation, Asasi or A-Level → MBBS/MD (5 years) → 2-year housemanship (UD9) → medical officer in medicine → Master of Internal Medicine or MRCP (UK) → internal-medicine specialist → about 3 years of cardiology subspecialty training (MOH, IJN or university) → NSR subspecialty listing as a Cardiologist.
Registration required: Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) registration with an Annual Practising Certificate, plus National Specialist Register (NSR) listing for specialist practice
