Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist

Finds, screens and interviews candidates and manages job offers, either for a recruitment agency serving many clients or in the in-house talent acquisition (TA) team of a bank, MNC or GBS centre. Many start with a degree in HR, psychology or business, and agency recruiters are often paid partly by commission.

- SPM → Matrikulasi, Asasi, STPM or Diploma → Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business or Communication → recruitment consultant at a licensed agency or TA executive in-house → senior TA / TA manager. Some agencies take diploma holders as junior researchers or coordinators. The agency itself must hold a licence from JTKSM under the Private Employment Agencies Act 1981.
