  7. 7Plan or direct spa services and programs.
  8. 8Develop or implement marketing strategies.
  9. 9Sell products, services, or memberships.
  10. 10Recruit, interview, or hire employees.
  11. 11Assess employee performance and suggest ways to improve work.
  12. 12Inventory products and order new supplies.
  13. 13Inform staff of job responsibilities, performance expectations, client service standards, or corporate policies and guidelines.
  14. 14Establish spa budgets and financial goals.
  15. 15Train staff in the use or sale of products, programs, or activities.
  16. 16Participate in continuing education classes to maintain current knowledge of industry.
  17. 17Direct facility maintenance or repair.
  18. 18Verify staff credentials, such as educational and certification requirements.
  19. 19Schedule staff or supervise scheduling.
  20. 20Check spa equipment to ensure proper functioning.
