Uniformed member of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (Malaysia's coast guard) who patrols Malaysian waters, carries out search and rescue and stops smuggling, illegal fishing and intrusions, joined after SPM or SVM through SPA9 as Laskar Kelas II Maritim T1.

You can enter this career straight after SPM. A degree is optional, not required.

How people get into it here: SPM or SVM with a credit in Bahasa Melayu (SKM Level 2 or 3 gives a higher starting pay) → meet height (1.63 m men, 1.57 m women), BMI and eyesight rules → apply on SPA9 for Laskar Kelas II Maritim T1 → basic training at the Malaysian Maritime Academy → posted to a maritime zone or patrol vessel. Degree holders can enter as officers instead.
