  2. 2Plan programs of events or schedules of activities.

  4. 4Write budgets to plan recreational activities or programs.
  5. 5Calculate and record department expenses and revenue.
  6. 6Interview and hire associates to fill staff vacancies.
  7. 7Talk to customers to convey information about events or activities.
  8. 8Explain rules and regulations of facilities and entertainment attractions to customers.
  9. 9Administer first aid in emergency situations.
  10. 10Assign tasks and work hours to staff.
  11. 11Inspect equipment, such as rides, games, and vehicles, to detect wear and damage.
  12. 12Resolve customer complaints regarding worker performance or services rendered.
  13. 13Store and retrieve equipment, such as vehicles, radios, and ride components.
  14. 14Train workers in company procedures or policy.
  15. 15Clean equipment and areas of amusement park, cruise ship, or other recreational facility.
  16. 16Write and present strategies for recreational facility programming using customer or employee data.
  17. 17Operate, drive, or explain the use of mechanical equipment in amusement parks, cruise ships, or other recreational facilities.
