Enforcement Officer (JPJ / KPDN / Local Council)

Uniformed enforcement staff who inspect premises, issue summonses and seize goods under the laws of their agency (road transport at JPJ, consumer and price rules at KPDN, licensing and by-laws at local councils), joined after SPM through SPA9 or a council advert as Pembantu Penguat Kuasa KP1.
You can enter this career straight after SPM. A degree is optional, not required.

- SPM or SVM with a credit in Bahasa Melayu (SKM Level 2 or 3 gives a higher starting pay) → meet height (1.57 m men, 1.53 m women), BMI and eyesight rules → apply on SPA9, or to a state or local council advert, for Pembantu Penguat Kuasa KP1 → posted to a ministry, JPJ, KPDN or council. With STPM, STAM, Matriculation or a diploma you can enter as Penolong Pegawai Penguat Kuasa KP5.
